New Orleans, LA – All-Region honorees for the 2024 NCAA Division II Cross Country season were recognized on Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following Regional Championships Saturday.  Southern Wesleyan was honored as Ronan O'Neill was among those who were recognized.

Athletes earned the distinction of All-Region by virtue of a top-25 finish at one of the eight regional sites this past weekend. Only athletes from USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards.  A complete list of those honored can be found here.

Many of these athletes will compete at the 2024 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships, which are set for Saturday, November 23, at the Arcade Creek Cross Country Course in Sacramento, California.

Southern Wesleyan junior Ronan O'Neill was awarded a spot on the All-Region team.  O'Neill finished in ninth at the NCAA DII Southeast Regional on Saturday to qualify him for the NCAA DII National Championship on November 23.  Prior to running in the regional, O'Neill was named the Conference Carolinas Runner of the Year after his impressive first place finish in the Conference Carolinas Championship on October 26.
