NGU would sustain pressure on the Warrior defense for the majority of the first period and would score another in the 33rd Minute. Southern Wesleyan would pull a goal back before the break thanks to a
Vivianna Gutierrez penalty kick.
SWU started the second half just as they finished the first: with very good energy and a goal. In the 53rd Minute,
Bella Hanzel showed great composure to cut the deficit to two goals and once against make the game interesting. However, defender
Karina Pashkovets was shown a red card in the 56th Minute, once again making it an uphill battle for the Warriors.
Madi Wurst was a real bright spot for the Southern Wesleyan offense, taking a team-high three shots in the second half. The Warriors challenged the Crusader net on a couple of other occasions as well, but North Greenville would score in the 59th and 89 Minutes, sealing the victory.
