Central, SC- The Warriors hosted their annual Swu Gotta Run Invitational on Friday and Saturday afternoon.

Track Results
Steeplechase- In the 3000m steeplechase, Abbey Frock placed 11th after running a 12:44.18
800m- Lycia Zavala finished strong after running a new PR of 2:23 placing her in 6th place. Following behind her, Savanna Stewart finished 9th after running a 2:27. Madison Lewellen, Taylor Broadwell, and Macey Morgan took 11th,12th, and 13th place. Lewellen placed 11th after running 2:30.71. Broadwell finished 12th after running 2:30.87 and Morgan took 13th after running a time of 2:31.20. Julia Reeves ran a 2:41.87 and placed 26th. Finishing up for the Warriors, Janey Dixon placed 30th after running a 2:44.96
1500m- Macey Morgan finished 11th for the Warriors after running a time of 5:09.40. Madison Lewellen ran a 5:14.10 and finished 19th. Placing 24th, Abbey Frock ran a time of 5:19.73. Following behind her, Janey Dixon and Caroline Lamb finished 47th and 54th place. Dixon ran a time of 5:44.43 and Lamb ran a time of 6:22.48.
100m- Carrie Barton finished 21st after running 12.90 and Kyla Johnson finished 22nd after running a 12.92.
100m Hurdles- TraVon Lay ran a time of 15.35 and placed 6th for the Warriors.
400m- In the 400m dash, Freshman Cierra Wright secured 2nd place after running a time of 57.80. Following not too far behind her, Lycia Zavala finished 7th and Deborah Marlow finished 9th. Zavala ran a time of 1:00.20 and Marlow ran a 1:00.72. Savanna Stewart finished 23rd after running a 1:03.70. Taylor Broadwell ran a time of 1:04.82 and finished 32nd and Julia Reeves finished 44th after running a 1:10.59.
400m Hurdles- Keyanna Williams placed 3rd for the Warriors after running a 1:06.80. Following behind her, Kayla Lema placed 4th after running a time of 1:07.88. Isabela Castillo finished 6th after running a time of 1:09.63 and TraVon Lay finished 7th after running 1:09.67. Lauryn Tate finished 10th after running a 1:10.68.
200m- Carmen Devries finished 9th after running a 26.65 and Kyla Johnson finished 13th after running a 27.11.
4x400- The Warriors took top places in the 4x400 relays. The A-team finished first after running a time of 3:56.29. Following behind them, B-team took 4th place after running a time of 4:08.56. C-team finished in 11th place after running a 4:31.37.
Field Results
Hammer- Kelsie Smith finished 2nd after throwing 47.96m. Hannah Hill followed closely behind, placing 3rd after throwing 43.70m. Selah Holcombe took 4th after throwing 38.09m and Taylee Grimes finished 5th after throwing 35.65m.
Javelin- Misha Mercuis took 10th place after throwing 28.52m. Lakin Long finished 13th after throwing 27.17m and Sophia Thiel placed 18th after throwing 23.05m.
Discus- Kelsie Smith finished 4th after throwing 35.21m and Selah Holcombe finished 19th after throwing 28.05m.
Shot Put- Taylee Grimes finished 26th after throwing 8.20m and Hattie Pitts finished 33rd after throwing 7.34.
Pole Vault- Haley Mclaughlin finished 2nd after clearing the height of 3.10m. Ava Labrant finished 7th after clearing 2.45m.
Long Jump- Carmen DeVries finished 3rd after jumping 5.29m and Kayla Love finished 12th after jumping 4.60m.
High Jump- Isabela Castillo secured first place after clearing 1.55m.
Triple Jump- Kayla Love finished 9th after jumping 10.22m
