Belmont, NC - The Warriors were unable to defeat the Belmont Abbey Crusaders after losing in a 0-7 final on Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened 

In the doubles action, Sarvesh Maria and Enzo Marcheschi lost in a 6-2 final against Belmont's Van Wijk and Cary. The Crusaders continued to play strong as they had Blythe and Stafford defeat Southern Wesleyan's team of Parker Willis and Fabian Segreda in a 6-3 final. In match NO. 3, Julio Lopes Polesi and Cole Farren lost their match against Turner and Rowe in a 6-3 final.  

In the singles action, the Crusaders continued to take down their competition. Sarvesh Maria had an awfully close match against Van Wijk but was unable to defeat Van Wijk after losing in a 7-6 and 6-4 final. Julio Lopes Polesi lost in a 6-1 and 6-4 final against Blythe. Parker Willis was unable to pass his competition after losing to Stafford in a 6-0 and 6-2 final. Enzo Marcheschi was able to force a third match against Belmont's Sheill. Marcheschi lost to a 6-7, 7-5, and 10-5 final. Fabian Segreda lost his match in a 6-0 and 6-1 final against Golindano. In the last match, Cole Farren was unable to defeat Lluveras in a 6-0 and 6-0 final.
