Central, SC- The Warriors were unable to defeat Francis Marion University on Friday as they fell in a 6-1 final score.

How It Happened  

In the singles, Enzo Marcheschi defeated L. Gonzalez after forcing a third set. Marcheschi lost 2-6 in the first set but 7-6 and 6-3 in the second and final set. Sarvesh Maria lost to L. Day after a 2-6 and 2-6 final. Julio Polsei lost to H. LLoyd-Evans after a 2-6 and 3-6 final. Fabian Segreda was defeated by M. Barbera in a 4-6 and 3-6 final. Cole Farren lost after a 0-6 and 0-6 final against L. Sarasa. Dylan Johns lost A. Ernberg in a 0-6 and 1-6 final. 

In the doubles action, Sarvesh Maria and Enzo Marcheschi were defeated by L. Day and L. Gonzalez in a 2-6 final. J. Polesi and Fabian Segreda lost to a 0-6 final against M. Barbera and H. Lloyd- Evans. Dylan Johns and Cole Farren lost to L. Sarasa and A. Ernberg in a 1-6 final.  

Whats Next 

The Warriors will host their final match of the season on April 23rd as they welcome the University of Mount Olive Trojans to the Rev. Leroy C Cox Tennis Complex for a 11am start.  Southern Wesleyan will recognize their seniors prior to the match.
