How It Happened 

In the singles, Sarvesh Maria was defeated by A. Ferreira in a 4-6 and 1-6 final. Julio Polesi lost to A. Lbrahin after a 4-6 and 2-6 final. Parker Willis had an awfully close match against L. Rodriguez after they forced a 3rd set. In set one, Willis won 6-1, but was defeated by Rodriguez 2-6 and 2-6 in the final two sets. Enzo Marcheschi also had a close match while playing against his opponent A. Balda. Unfortunately, Marcheschi lost after a 4-6, 6-3, and 4-10 final. Fabian Segreda was defeated by G. Normand after a 0-6 and 6-6 final. Cole Farren lost after a 0-6 and 0-6 final against V. Nunez. 

In the doubles action, Sarvesh Maria and Enzo Marcheschi lost after a 2-6 final against A. Ferreria and A. Balda. Parker Willis and Julio Polsei were unable to defeat A. Lbrahim after a close 3-6 final. Fabian Segreda and Cole Farren lost after a 3-6 final against G. Normand and E. Briand.

Southern Wesleyan will travel to Sumter, SC on Friday, April 29, 2022 for the first round of the Conference Carolinas Men's Tennis Championship at 9 a.m.
