CENTRAL, S.C. – Spartanburg Methodist College (SMC) sophomore Brittany Mack has signed to continue her academic and athletic career at Southern Wesleyan University (SWU). The Spartanburg, S.C. product will have three years of eligibility remaining for the Warriors. She is the fourth signee for the upcoming 2021-2022 academic year.
"Brittany Mack is the total package and we could not be more excited to have her join our university," commented SWU head women's basketball coach John Davis. "Brittany is strong in her faith in Christ, a demonstrated leader in her community and an individual that values hard work. On the basketball court, Brittany does a little bit of everything and I look forward to her being a role model for our university and women's basketball program."
Mack, a 5-4 point guard, currently has played in 46 games at SMC in her two years with the Pioneers and has averages 10.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.2 steals per game in her career. She has shot 42.1% from the field and 36.6% from 3-point range. In her current sophomore season, she has averaged 11.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.1 steals, while shooting 51.4% from 3-point range. She helped lead the team to a 21-8 finish last season and a Region X regular season and tournament championship and has been a part of 33 wins in her time with the Pioneers at the time of writing this article.
