Greenville, SC – Conference Carolinas officially released its baseball all-conference team on Friday, April 3, 2020.
The baseball all-conference team is part of a special process in which Conference Carolinas is honoring its 2020 spring seniors. All of the members of the spring all-conference teams are seniors. Southern Wesleyan was represented by Tyler Fuller, Tanner Glass, Angelo Pahila, Devin Patrick, Sawyer Price, Timo Schau and Nolan Steevens.
Tyler Fuller has served as an outfielder and catcher for the Warriors. In his senior season, Fuller appeared in 14 games and collected 31 at bats. At the plate, he collected 10 hits including two doubles. He recorded five RBIs and came in to score five times. During his career with the Warriors, Fuller has had 24 hits, including three doubles.
Tanner Glass has served as an outfielder and pitcher for the Warriors 2018 to 2020. Hailing from Petersburg, Michigan, Glass collected 19 hits during his senior season including five doubles and three home runs. He has come in to score 10 times and has driven in 15 runs. Over the two years he has played for the Warriors, he has collected 55 hits including nine doubles and four home runs. Glass has walked 18 times and has stolen four bases during his career. This year on the mound, Glass has a 2-0 record over 18.2 innings pitched and struck 15 batters and had a 4.82 ERA. In his career on the mound, he has collected 21 strikeouts.
Angelo Pahila was in his first season donning the Warrior blue. He had played in two games this season and had one at bat. Hailing from Simpsonville, SC, Pahila had previously played at Surry Community College.
Devin Patrick, a starting outfielder, started his career at SWU in the 2015-16 season. During his senior season for the Warriors, he had collected 19 hits including six doubles and a home run. Patrick had collected 10 RBIs so far this season, making his career RBI total 56. Over his time at Southern Wesleyan, he has collected 10 stolen bases and walked 57 times. The Maryland native has come in to score 53 times in his career. Patrick has recorded a career total of 105 hits including 25 doubles, four triples and seven home runs.
Sawyer Price played a variety of positions in the infield for the Warriors the past two seasons, but predominately spent his time on the corner bases. This season over 16 games, he had collected seven hits and walked five times. He had three RBIs and had come in to score three times. Over the two years he had worn the Warrior blue, Price had collected 22 hits including three doubles. Price has also been the main host of the McAlister's Athlete of the Week Show and SWU Coach's Show for the past two seasons.
Timo Schau, one of the Warriors lead-off men in the starting line-up for Southern Wesleyan, kicked off his senior career with 21 hits including three doubles and a triple. The native of Chicago led the team with 12 stolen bases and had only been caught once all season. Schau had three RBIs and had come home to score 16 times during the season. Over his 2-year career in the Warrior blue, Schau has produced 62 hits, including 13 doubles, and 42 walks. He had stolen base 19 times.
Nolan Steevens, a New Hampshire native, played in five games during his senior campaign. Over six at bats, he had one hit and had stolen one base. During his two year stint at Southern Wesleyan, Steevens has collected 24 at bats with three hits. He has walked five times and has driven in one run during his career.
