Warriors Sitting in Seventh after Round One of Emerald Coast Classic

Destin, FL – Southern Wesleyan is sitting in a tie for seventh place after the first round of play in the Emerald Coast Classic on Sunday.

How It Happened

Emileigh Swords led the Warriors in the first round of the tournament.  Her first round score of 78 put her in a tie for 12th place.  She was followed by Kaylia McIntyre.  McIntyre shot an 84 in the first round to put her in a tie for 36th.  Right behind McIntyre were both Jesse Dalton and Emily Floyd, both shooting first round scores of 85 to put them in a tie for 38th.  Sarah Page wrapped up the field for the Warriors as she shot a first round score of 94 to put her in a tie for 60th.

 

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will continue in the Emerald Coast Classic on March 9-10.  They will then conclude the regular season on March 23-24 in Tigerville, SC as they take part in the Cherokee Valley Intercollegiate.  The Warriors will then compete in the Conference Carolinas Championship on April 5-7.
