Warriors Finish in Seventeenth at Battle at Hilton Head

Hilton Head, SC – Southern Wesleyan finished in 17th in the Battle at Hilton Head on Tuesday.

How It Happened

Emileigh Swords led the Warriors during the Battle at Hilton Head.  Swords shot a 75 and an 85 to give her a total round score of 160 and put her in a tie for 48th place. 

Swords was followed by Emily Floyd and Kaylia McIntyre.  Floyd shot an 88 and 87 for a 175 total round score to earn her a 79th place finish.  She was followed by McIntyre who shot an 87 and 89 for a 176 total round score and put her in a tie for 80th place.

Sarah Page and Jesse Dalton wrapped up the field for the Warriors.  Page finished in 82nd after shooting a 90 and 89 to give her a 179 total round score.  She was followed by Jesse Dalton.  Dalton's 92 and 89 gave her a 181 total round score to put her in a tie for 83rd.

 

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will next take part in the Emerald Coast Classic on March 8-10.  They will then conclude the regular season at the Cherokee Valley Intercollegiate on March 23-24.  The Warriors will participate in the Conference Carolinas Championship on April 5-7.
