Warriors Sitting in Fifteenth in Round One of Battle at Hilton Head

Hilton Head, SC – Southern Wesleyan is sitting in 15th after the first round in the Battle at Hilton Head on Monday.

How It Happened

Emileigh Swords led the Warriors in the first round of their second tournament of the spring.  Swords shot three over par to give her a first round score of 75 and put her in a tie for 18th.  She was followed by Kaylia McIntyre and Emily Floyd.  McIntyre shot a first round score of 87 to put her in a tie for 74th.  Floyd followed with a first round score of 88 to put her in a tie for 76th.

Sarah Page followed Floyd after the first round.  Page's first round score of 90 allowed her to end round one in 80th.  She was followed by Jesse Dalton.  The junior shot a first round score of 92 to put her in a tie for 82nd place.

 

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will conclude the Battle at Hilton Head tomorrow.  They will then participate in the Emerald Coast Classic on March 8-10 in Destin, Florida.  The Warriors will conclude the regular season at North Greenville's Cherokee Valley Intercollegiate on March 23-24.
