Warriors Win Third Straight Match

Charlotte, N.C. - Southern Wesleyan defeated the Johnson C. Smith Golden Bulls in a 7-0 final on Saturday.

How It Happened

The Warriors went 2-0 in doubles action on Saturday. Jonas Grasmuck and Sarvesh Maria defeated Desire Johnson and Kohn Richardson in a 6-1 final. Enzo Marcheschi and Julio Lopes Polesi defeated Marlowe Anderson and Tayvon Lassiter in a 6-1 final. 

In singles action, the Warriors went 5-0. Sarvesh Maria defeated Desire Johnson in 7-5 and 6-1 final scores. Jonas Grasmuck defeated Kohn Richardson 6-1 and 6-0. Enzo Marcheschi defeated Marlowe Anderson in 6-2 and 6-0 final scores. Joseph Olatunji defeated Tayvon Lassiter in a 6-4 and 6-1 final and Fabian Segreda defeated Cameron Hyman 6-2 and 6-1.

 

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan travels to play the Emmanuel College Lions in their Conference Carolinas opener on February 25 at 2 p.m. They will remain on the road as they take on the Coker Cobras on February 28 at 2 p.m.
