Warriors Shut Out Brevard

Brevard, N.C. - Southern Wesleyan defeated the Brevard Tornados in a 9-0 final on Saturday.

How It Happened

The Warriors went 3-0 in doubles action on Saturday. Sarvesh Maria and Jonas Grasmuck defeated Jackson Ray and Ethan McGhee in an 8-1 final. Joseph Olatunji and Fabian Segrada defeated Andrew Ingram and Troy Broska in an 8-1 final and Cole Farren and Julio Lopes Polesi defeated JaMarcus Walker and Miles Schafer in an 8-0 final.

In singles action, the Warriors went 6-0. Sarvesh Maria defeated Ethan McGhee in 6-0 and 6-0 final scores. Jonas Grasmuck defeated Jackson Ray in a 6-1 and 6-0 final. Joseph Olatunji defeated Troy Broska in a 6-0 and 6-0 final. Julio Lopes Polesi defeated Andrew Ingram in 6-1 and 6-0 final scores. Fabian Segrada defeated JaMarcus Walker in 6-1 and 6-0 final scores and Cole Farren defeated Miles Schafer in a 6-1 and 6-0 final.

 

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan travels to play Johnson C. Smith on February 22 at 1 p.m. They will then open Conference Carolinas play on February 25 when they take on the Emmanuel Lions at 2 p.m.
