Easley, SC – Southern Wesleyan hosted the Warrior Classic, an individual 18 hole tournament, on October 13. They were lead by sophomore
Emileigh Swords and freshman
Adrienne O'Brien during the tournament.
How It Happened
Sophomore
Emileigh Swords led the Warriors in the Warrior Classic, claiming her first collegiate top five finish. Swords shot a 77 during the lone round of play to put her in a tie for third place.
Adrienne O'Brien followed to wrap up the top 10 in the tournament. The freshman shot an 81 in the lone round of play to put her in a 10th place finish.
Jesse Dalton and
Isabel Matos were the next two Warriors to finish. Both Dalton and Matos shot round scores of 87 during the afternoon to put them in a tie for 22
nd place. They were followed by
Sarah Page, who shot a 90 to put her in a tie for 26
th place.
Kaylia McIntyre finished in a tie for 29
th place after shooting a 91 in the lone round of play. She was followed by
Sarah Prater who shot a 96 to put her in a tie for 35
th place.
Rachel Page wrapped up the field for the Warriors with a 107. Page finished in a tie for 38
th place.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will close out the Fall season of play on November 1 as they take part in the Savannah Lakes Intercollegiate.
