How It Happened
Southern Wesleyan was led by junior Emily Anderson. Anderson shot a collegiate best 74 in the first round of play to put her in a tie for fifth place. She was followed by teammate Jesse Dalton in a tie for 50th after shooting a first round score of 81.
Emileigh Swords is sitting in a tie for 65th place after shooting an 83 in the first round of competition. Following Swords, Kaylia McIntyre shot an 86 in the first round. Her score put her in a tie for 75th place. Wrapping up the field for the Warriors is freshman Rachel Page. Page shot a 95 in the first round to put her 83rd.
