How It Happened

After a lightning delay, the Auburn University of Montgomery Warhawks and the Southern Wesleyan Warriors battled out on the field.  Shots on goal by Zack Hargreaves and Grant Kiker were blocked by the Warhawks defense.  The Warhawks countered, scoring on a goal by Tate Dean in the first half of the game.

Going into the second half, the Warriors continued to pressure with shots by Malik Ibrahim and Ben Baker.  However, the Warhawks lengthened their lead to 2-0 in the second half.  With three minutes left in the second half, Grant Kiker pushed around the defense to put the Warriors down 2-1 to end the game.
