Central, SC – Conference Carolinas announced 2026 Men's Soccer Major Award winners and All-Conference Teams on Friday. Southern Wesleyan was honored as junior midfielder Michael Boyle was awarded a spot on the All-Conference Third Team.
A junior out of San Antonio, TX, Michael Boyle spent time starting and coming off the bench for the Warriors. He opened up the season for the Warriors against USC Aiken on August 27 where he picked up the game winning goal in the 4-0 victory over the Pacers.
He continued to be an instrumental piece for the Warriors during the 2026 campaign as he not only scored but also picked up several key assists throughout the season. He recorded his first collegiate brace on September 30 as he scored two goals in the 5-3 victory over the Emmanuel Lions.
In Southern Wesleyan's first appearance in Conference Carolinas postseason since 2017, Boyle recorded the lone goal against the Trailblazers of North Greenville. His other goal of the year came in the 3-1 victory over the Erskine Flying Fleet.
