How It Happened
The Warriors took one of the three doubles match-ups of the afternoon. Urs Widow and Siggy Menzel took down Delaney and Barfoot in an 8-6 final. Daniel Bolivar and Sam Bakker, and Joseph Olatunji and Ben Smith both challenged in their matches, but both teams fell in an 8-6 final score.
In singles play, Southern Wesleyan took one of the six match-ups. Urs Widow won his singles match in a 6-2, 6-7 and 6-4 final. Daniel Bolivar challenged in his sets, but fell to Blythe in a 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 final. Sam Bakker battled to the end in both his sets, falling to Disotuow in a 7-6 and 6-3 final.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will remain at home on April 6 as they take on the University of Mount Olive Trojans at 4 p.m. They will then travel to North Greenville on April 10.
