How It Happened

Southern Wesleyan took one of the three matches in doubles action.  Stan Grzeslo and Sam Bakker took down Enique Alcacer and Juan Carlos Romero in an 8-6 final.  Urs Widow and Siggy Menzel challenged the Lions in their match, but fell in an 8-5 final score.

In singles play, the Warriors took two of the six matches.  Urs Widow, playing in the first position, defeated Tom Jarry in a 6-1 and 6-3 final.  Sam Bakker followed with a 6-3 and 6-1 victory over Lucas Pereira.

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will return home on April 6 as they take on the University of Mount Olive Trojans.  They will remain at home on April 7 as they take on the Belmont Abbey Crusaders.
