How It Happened

Southern Wesleyan took one of the three doubles matches of the afternoon.  Urs Widow and Siggy Menzel won their match in an 8-1 final.  Stan Grzeslo and Sam Bakker challenged in their match, but were bested by the Bulldogs in an 8-6 final.

In singles play, the Warriors took two of the six matches.  Urs Widow won his in 4-6, 7-6 and 10-5 set scores.  Siggy Menzel won his match in 6-4 and 6-0 set scores.  Sam Bakker forced a third set in his match, but fell to Jesus Gil 6-4, 3-6 and 6-4.

What's Next

This will conclude the regular season action for the Warriors.  Southern Wesleyan will next compete in the Conference Carolinas Tennis Championship tournament on April 20-22.
