How It Happened

Southern Wesleyan swept doubles play on Friday afternoon.  Urs Widow and Siggy Menzel one their match in an 8-0 final.  Stan Grzeslo and Sam Bakker took down their opponents in an 8-1 final.  Daniel Bolivar and Joseph Olatunji finished up doubles action by winning their match in an 8-4 final.

In singles action, the Warriors won five of the six matches.  Urs Widow and Joseph Olatunji each one their sets in 6-0 finals to win their matches.  Daniel Bolivar took his in 6-3 and 6-0 finals, and Stan Grzeslo won his 6-4 and 6-0.  Sam Bakker forced split sets with Brandon Lewis to fourth set.  Bakker won the fourth set 10-2.

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will next travel to Emmanuel to take on the Lions on April 3.  They will then return to Central, SC to take on the University of Mount Olive Trojans on April 6 and the Belmont Abbey Crusaders on April 7.
