How It Happened
In doubles action, Southern Wesleyan took down Lees-McRae in all three matches. Urs Widow and Siggy Menzel were challenged by the team of Gabe Muniz and Sebastian Zuhr, however they won 8-4. Both other doubles teams won in an 8-2 final.
The Warriors swept in singles play. Stan Grzeslo and Joseph Olatunji swept their matches with 6-0 set victories. Sam Bakker won his sets 6-4 and 6-1 to claim a conference victory. Urs Widow played in the one hole for the Warriors and took his opponent to three sets, but won the final set to take the match. Siggy Menzel and Daniel Bolivar each won their sets as well.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will remain at home on March 24 as they take on the King Tornado. They will then travel to Brewton Parker on March 30.
