Box Score GREENVILLE, S.C.- Southern Wesleyan scored three goals in the second half of its 4-2 win against Bob Jones.
The Warriors (2-0) got on the board in the second minute as Michel Herszenhaut scored his first goal of the season. They held the Bruins (0-2) to three shots in the first half.
Bob Jones tied the game in the 67th minute, but Southern Wesleyan quickly regained the lead in the 68th minute as Sven Hansen scored his first goal of the season. Christian Taylor stretched the lead to two goals a minute later as he scored a goal in the 69th minute. The Bruins cut the lead to one goal in the 82nd minute with another goal. Ivan Malagon scored a goal in the 86th minute off a pass from Sebastian Castro to stretch the lead back to two goals. Southern Wesleyan held Bob Jones to only one shot attempt the rest of the way to seal the win.
Miguel Uribe faced 13 shots and recorded two saves in the game.
The Warriors will next travel to Lincoln Memorial Sept. 7 for a 4 p.m. contest.
