MOUNT OLIVE, N.C.- Southern Wesleyan men's tennis team fell 8-1 to Mount Olive.

The Warriors (6-14, 4-6 CC) went 1-5 in singles play and 0-3 in doubles play.

In singles competition, Ogulcan Deniz defeated Camilo Sandoval 8-5 at the No. 1, Ogulcan Deniz defeated Daniel Zapata 6-1, 6-4 at the No. 2, Stan Grzeslo defeated Martin Moser 9-7 at the No. 3, Martim Sousa defeated Urs Widow 6-0, 6-2 at the No. 4, Yannic Stark defeated Keegan Barkley 8-4 at the No. 5, and Sherzod Akramov defeated Jacob Chesney 6-3, 6-0 at the No. 6.

In doubles competition, Deniz/Akramov defeated Barkley/Grzeslo 8-1 at the No. 1, Cortijos/Sousa defeated Sandoval/Zapata 8-3 at the No. 2, and Moser/Stark defeated Widow/Reed 8-5 at the No. 3.

Southern Wesleyan next hosts Point April 12 at 2:30 p.m. for its last regular season match of the season.
