Warriors Drop Road Match to Nighthawks

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Southern Wesleyan's men's tennis team fell 9-0 to No. 20 North Georgia.

The Warriors (1-7) went 0-6 in singles play and 0-3 in doubles play.

In singles competition, Philipp Mueller defeated Camilo Sandoval 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 1, Niklas Zielen defeated Daniel Zapata 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 2, Alexander Renald defeated Stan Grzeslo 6-3, 6-3 at the No. 3, Hugues Renald defeated Harry Reed 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 4, Lukas Moritzen defeated Keegan Barkley 8-2 at the No. 5, and Andre Canino defeated Urs Widow 8-2 at the No. 6.

In doubles competition, Mueller/Zielen defeated Sandoval/Zapata 8-4 at the No. 1, Reinauer/Renald defeated Grzeslo/Reed 8-0 at the No. 2, and Moritzen/Canino defeated Barkley/Widow 8-3 at the No. 3.

Southern Wesleyan next travels to Carson-Newman Feb. 27 at 1 p.m.
