BRISTOL, Tenn. – Southern Wesleyan men's tennis dropped a road conference match on Saturday, falling to King (Tenn.) 6-3.

The Warriors won No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles by default, picking up just one other match victory on the day. That win came from Loic Delaby at No. 4 singles. Delaby won for the first time this season in singles action, defeating Seth Carelli 6-3, 6-1.

Camilo Sandoval took his match to three sets after dropping the opener but Lennard Keswani eventually came back to win 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 at the No. 1 spot. Keegan Barkley, Jacob Chesney and Alex Ballenger were all defeated in straight sets.

In doubles, SWU managed to win just three games in the two matches. Delaby and Matthew Plummer lost to Keswani and Carelli 8-2 at No. 2 doubles while Barkley and Sandoval fell 8-1 to Luis Delgado and Moritz Poswiat at No. 1.

The Warriors are scheduled to be back in action against Carson-Newman on Tuesday in a match that has been moved several times due to bad weather.
