Mount Olive picked up five hits in that fourth inning as they collected nine off of starter Callie Wayne. Wayne dropped to 4-5 on the year with the loss after tossing 3.2 innings, allowing six runs and two walks.

Allison Barbee scored twice as well, scoring on Fela's double in the seventh and also in the fifth after reaching on an error. She was on base all four times with two hits and a walk.

Lucy Wolff came in relief of Wayne and pitched well, allowing just four hits and one run in 3.1 innings. Madison Johnston picked up the win for the Trojans and improves to 5-3 while Caitlin Ewers picked up her first save.

Game Two
The Warriors flexed their muscle to stop a three-game slide, hitting a pair of homers to win 5-3 thanks in large part to a four-run fifth inning.

Lizzie Fela started the rally in the fifth with a two-out solo bomb to left field that brought the Warriors to within one at 3-2. Shelby Stroud blasted a homer to right center to lead off the fourth.

The Warriors tied the game in the fifth as Callie Wayne doubled in Ashleigh Wilbur after Wilbur walked. Another double by Stroud chased the starter Lauren Smith. An error by the shortstop allowed pinch runner Natalie Johnson to score from second and give the Warriors an insurance run.

Four players picked up two hits in the game for the Warriors. In addition to Stroud, Callie Wayne, Lizzie Fela and Sara Sweatt all collected two hits.

Hunter Hoskins tossed her first career complete game to improve to 3-0 on the year. The freshman struck out two and didn't walk a batter.
