Central, SC - Southern Wesleyan is excited to announce Michaela Andress of Volleyball as the first Mug Shot Coffee Athlete of the Week for the 2026-27.

In the Warriors' two victories in the Bobcat Classic over the weekend, Andress served as a massive presence for the Warriors.  After totaling seven kills and nine digs against Carson-Newman, Andress picked up 11 kills in both of the wins over Georgia College and Albany State.  She went on to pick up a double-double game against Albany State as she picked up 10 digs.  In the loss against West Alabama, the senior outside hitter had 16 kills and 17 digs for her second double double game of the season.

Andress finished the tournament with 45 kills, 2 assists, 6 aces, 41 digs and 5 blocks and posted a 32.4% hitting percentage.
