Greenville, SC – Conference Carolinas had 37 women's volleyball student-athletes named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District when the organization announced their awards on Tuesday.
WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL ALL-DISTRICT SELECTIONS
In all, 10 Conference Carolinas institutions were recognized: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Chowan University, Converse University, Ferrum College, Francis Marion University, King University, University of Mount Olive, UNC Pembroke, and Southern Wesleyan University. The Warriors were honored as Katie Fulton, Ainsley Stovall, Alexxis Wader and Sarah Mitchell were among those recognized.
Senior Katie Fulton led the Warriors in assists during the 2025 season. After starting in 20 of the 28 matches she appeared in, Fulton picked up 476 assists during the year. She went on to have 27 aces and 284 digs. She was followed by sophomores Alexxis Wader, Ainsley Stovall, and Sarah Mitchell. Wader appeared in 26 matches where she totaled 125 digs and 11 aces in the 2025 season. Mitchell was second on the team in blocks during the season as she accumulated 70 total blocks. She also had 113 kills and 13 aces. Stovall started in 23 of the 28 matches where she had 194 kills, 61 digs and 17 blocks.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Jan. 13, 2026.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
