The Trojans answered with an attack of their own just seventeen minutes into the half as Lauren Johnson collected the ball and sent it into the back of the net. Minutes later, Whitley Anderson netted another goal to give the Trojans a 2-0 goal lead.
Anderson extended on their lead early in the second half as Lauren Monday scored off a cross by Jazel DeOliveira. Lucia Fernandez wove around the defense and put up a shot, but once again her attack at the net was thwarted by Molly Estes. Anderson went on to win the game in a 3-0 goal victory.
