How It Happened

The Trailblazers went on the offensive early as Samanta Garcia and Finley Lloyd each put up shots.  The Warriors answered as Breena Duffy and Ella Beasley put up shots, but each of their shots were knocked away by Cadie Pendergrass.  With the goalie pulled out of the net, Lucia Fernandez put up a shot of her own.  However, the Trailblazers back line were able to prevent her shot from finding the net.  After thirty-seven minutes had elapsed, Ashley Caballero took a corner kick and sent the ball into the box.  The ball hit off a player to Madison Stanley who sent it into the net to give the Warriors a 1-0 goal lead.

Southern Wesleyan continued their attacks in the second half as Ashley Caballero sent the ball in to the net.  However, once again, Cadie Pendergrass was there to knock the ball away.  The Trailblazers continued to look to tie the game up as Kendyll Donnellon and Jaycee Watkins got shots in, but they each went wide.  Brookelynn Vanderkallen sent the ball in, but Ester Carabano collect the attack to prevent North Greenville from gaining the equalizer.  The Warriors went on to win the game in a 1-0 final.
