How It Happened

The Warriors peppered the goal early on as Breena Duffy, Lucia Fernandez and Maya Drew each took turns putting up shots.  Ashley Caballero took a corner kick just over fourteen minutes into the opening half.  Her cross found Karina Pashkovets who headed it into the goal to give the Warriors the early advantage.  The Warriors were not done as just minutes until the buzzer sounded, Lucia Fernandez wove around the defense and found the back of the net to extend Southern Wesleyan's lead to 2-0.

Erskine fought back in the second half as Alexa Harrison put up a shot, but Ester Carabano was able to corral the ball to prevent the Flying Fleet from getting on the board.  The Warriors went on the offensive once again, but Valentina Santana was able to control each of the attacks that Lucia Fernandez made on the goal.  In the final minutes of the second half, Hannah DeVincent got the ball up the field to Jordan Schuhlein.  Schuhlein scored, but it was not enough as the Warriors claimed the game in a 2-1 final.
