Central, SC - Southern Wesleyan is excited to announce Dustyn Scruggs of Men's Track & Field as this week's Mug Shot Coffee Athlete of the Week.

Dustyn Scruggs, a senior out of Piedmont, SC, led the Warriors during the 800 meters.  In the race, he not only finished third but broke the school record with a time of 1:54.56.  His time bested Nate Hill's time of 1:56.24 when he set the previous season.

Scruggs was also a member of the Warriors 4x400 meter relay team which finished in fifth in the race with a time of 3:20.17.  The other members of the 4x400 meter relay team were Caleb Stephan, Nate Hill and Ethan Marchman.
