The Warriors attacked the plate once again in the top of the second inning.  With one out, Josh Long hit a single up the middle.  A walk to Gage Shaver put two runners on and brought Vincent Angle up to bat.  Angle ground out to first, but both Long and Shaver were able to advance on the play.  With two out and runners in scoring position, Jack Dennison singled through the right side to bring both Long and Shaver in to score to give the Warriors a 3-0 run lead.

Southern Wesleyan went on the offensive again in the top of the fourth inning.  With one out, Vincent Angle singled and then advanced to second on a single by Jack Dennison.  Tristan Tillman drilled the ball to center field for a double to bring Angle in to score.  A walk to Cam Mitchem loaded up the bases for Marty Grisso.  Grisso knocked the ball to deep left field for a double to bring Dennison and Tillman across home plate.  Jarrett Whitley hit a sacrifice fly out to right field that brought Mitchem in to score to extend the Warriors lead to 7-0.

Georgia College got on the board in the bottom of the fourth inning as Braden Smith hit a home run over the right field wall.  The Bobcats brought two more runs in to score after the home run to put them behind the Warriors 7-3.

The Warriors got a run back in the top of the fifth inning.  With one out, Vincent Angle was hit by a pitch and then advanced to second on a wild pitch.  A ground out by Jack Dennison allowed Angle to advance to third.  Tristan Tillman hit a ground rule double down the right field line to bring Angle in to score the eighth run of the game for the Warriors.
