Central, SC – Southern Wesleyan battled against the University of Mount Olive Trojans for ninety minutes before the game concluded in a 0-0 draw on Saturday afternoon.
The Warriors had six shots in the game. Leonardo Flores led the team with four shots. Behind him both Brody Schroeder and Mason Councill had solo shots. Luke Bramblett played all ninety minutes in the goal and had four saves.

How It Happened
The Warriors went on the attack early on as Brody Schroeder rushed toward the net, but his break away was deemed offsides and kept Southern Wesleyan from taking the early advantage. The Trojans countered as Joao Barboza Filho and Juan Gonzalez-Gancedo each took shots on the net. However, Luke Bramblett was there to knock the balls away. Mount Olive would not relent as they took several more shots on the net, but none of their attempts were able to find the goal. Mason Councill to a shot on the net, but his attack was blocked. Leonardo Flores collected the blocked shot by Councill and attempted to put one of his own into the net. However, his shot was also blocked.
The second half started with shots by several of the Trojans. However, the Warriors back line was able to block each of their attacks on the goal. Luke Bramblett knocked out another shot by Joao Barboza Filho. Halfway through the second half, Leonardo Flores took another shot on the goal, but his shot went just left of the net. Flores sent the ball in once more, but his shot was blocked by the Trojans' back line. Mount Olive went on the attack several more times throughout the second half, but none of their attacks would find the net. The game would conclude in a 0-0 draw.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will hit the road on October 7 to Franklin Springs, GA where they will take on the Emmanuel Lions at 7pm. They will remain on the road on October 11 as they travel to Murfreesboro, NC to take on the Chowan Hawks. The Warriors will return to Childs Field on October 18 to take on the Young Harris Mountain Lions for the second time this season.
