How It Happened

Southern Wesleyan went on the offensive early on in the game as Leonardo Flores took a shot on the net.  Luca Barwalde was able to corral the ball though to keep the Warriors from taking the early advantage.  Eleven minutes into the half, Marcos Martinez Loureiro went on the offensive, but Luke Bramblett batted the ball away from the net.  The Warriors persisted as Lucas Di Marco, Flores and Sebastian Zumbado took turns attacking the net.  Barwalde made sure that none of their attacks found the net to keep the game tied at 0-0 at halftime.

Erskine put up an attack early in the second half that led to a goal off the foot of Evan Williams.  Southern Wesleyan looked to countered as Brody Schroeder and Leonardo Flores took a couple more shots, but their attacks were blocked.  Jorge Torres-Cortes got the ball around the Warriors defense to score the second goal of the game for the Flying Fleet. Brody Schroeder looked to cut into Erskine's lead as he went on the offensive several more times, but each time Luca Barwalde was there to collect the ball.  Erskine went on to win the game in a 2-0 final.
