How It Happened

Southern Wesleyan attacked quickly as Diego Hernandez sent the ball toward the net, but the Flying Fleet prevented the attack from paying off.  The Warriors continued their attacks on the net with shots by Steven Nunez and Hernandez.  Tipton Wright took the ball and sent it toward the net, but his shot just missed finding the back of the net to give the Warriors the lead.  Erskine countered with shots by Carlos Murguia, but the Warriors defense thwarted the attack.

Leonardo Flores sent back-to-back shots on the net, but each of his shots were blocked.  The Warriors continued to challenge the Flying Fleet defense, but Alberto Esquivel's shot did not find the net.  Michael Boyle wove around the defense and sent the ball up to Esquivel.  Esquivel sent the ball into the net to give the Warriors a 1-0 goal advantage.  The Warriors continued to look to extend on their lead with shots by Feren Nunez and Leonardo Flores, but Beckham Boomershine saved the attacks on the net.  Southern Wesleyan went on to win the game in a 1-0 final score.
