The Hawks persisted, but Luke Bramblett saved Birch's second attack on the net. Brody Schroeder looked to equalize the game, but his shot just missed the net.
Chowan would not back down as Junior Smith sent the ball toward the net, but it ricocheted off the wood work. Alberto Esquivel went on the attack, but the ball just missed the net. The Warriors continued to challenge the Hawks as Feren Nunez and Brody Schroeder took more shots on the net, but Chase Jansen and the Chowan back line thwarted each attack.
