How It Happened

North Greenville came out quickly as Jordyn Lamb and Marli Cevallos each sent in shots, but Southern Wesleyan's defense defended the net and prevented the Trailblazer's attacks from finding the net.  Bailey Meyer took the ball toward the net, but her shot went just wide.  North Greenville continued to attack the net, but Katelyn O'Neill and the Warriors defense saved the attacks from paying off.  Despite a late shot by Miley Tjoelker, the Warriors and Trailblazers remained tied 0-0 at halftime.

The Trailblazers came out strong in the second half as Jaycee Watkins and Aubrey Kramer attacked the net.  Katelyn O'Neill blocked each attack though to prevent North Greenville from gaining the upper hand.  Southern Wesleyan countered with a shot by Jessie Parrott, but the Trailblazers blocked her attack on the net.  Fianna Steves drove the ball toward the net, but Anna Rickle dove on the ball to prevent the Warriors from getting on the board.  North Greenville repeatedly attacked the net, but the Warriors deterred each one.  Despite a late shot on goal by Abbey Kovalcik, the Warriors and Trailblazers finished in a 0-0 draw.
