Winston-Salem, NC - Abbey Frock set another school record for the Warriors and the Women's Track and Field program at the Camel City Invitational over the weekend.

Track Results
60m: In the prelims, Makayla Wilson finished 23rd after a time of 7.93. In the qualifying rounds of the 60m, Sarah Richardson opened up her first meet of the season with a time of 8.36 to finish 34th. Alyse Davis followed closely behind in 37th after a time of 8.37. Cianna Laginestra finished 39th with a time of 8.39.
60m Hurdles: TraVon Lay finished 36th with a time of 10.00.
200m: Freshman Alyse Davis lead the Warriors with a time of 27.40 finishing 31st. Lauryn Tate finished 44th with a time of 28.21 and Sarah Richardson followed closely behind in 45th with a time of 28.26. TraVon Lay wrapped up the field for the Warriors as she finished in 49th with a time of 28.35.
200m (Seeded): In the seeded section of the 200 meters, Kyla Johnson finished in 14th with a time of 28.01.
400m: Lauryn Tate finished 16th with a time of 1:03.54 and Kayla Lema finished 19th with a time of 1:04.31.
400m (Seeded): In the seeded 400m, Kyla Johnson finished 16th with a time of 1:03.82
800m: Freshman Evelyn Gordon finished 18th in the 800 meters after running a time of 2:24.69. Behind her, Ava Labrant had a new PR of 2:29.41 after finishing 25th and Janey Dixion finished 48th after a time of 2:45.42.
1000m: Gisselle Lopez was the lone Warrior to run in the 1000 meters. Lopez finished in 23rd with a time of 3:51.21.
3000m: Abbey Frock broke the record in the 3000 meters. She finished 39th after running a time of 10:57.54.
Mile: In the mile, Merritt Smith finished 49th after running a time of 5:51.08 and Emma Dixon finished 52nd after running a time of 5:59.63
4x400 Meter Relay: Lauryn Tate, Kayla Lema, Alyse Davis, and Kyla Johnson finished 10th as a team in the 4x400 meter relay after running a time of 4:21.82
Field Results
Long Jump: Freshman Zy'Adriya Johnson finished 28th after a jump of 4.87m (15-11.75 feet).
Weight Throw: In the weight throw, junior Lakin Long finished 33rd after a throw of 9.57m (31-04.75 feet)
Triple Jump: Zy'Adriya Johnson finished 14th after a jump of 10.48m (34-04.75 feet)
Shot Put: Gracie Wilson led the Warriors in the shot put as she threw a distance of 8.29m (27.02.50 feet) to put her in 41st.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will return to Winson-Salem, NC and the JDL Fast Track on February 8 as they take part in the JDL Team Challenge. They will then travel back to Winston-Salem, NC on February 18-19 to compete at the Conference Carolinas Indoor Championship
