How It Happened

The Crusaders struck first as seven minutes into the game Miranda Moorhouse put the ball into the back of the net.  North Greenville would not relent their attacks with shots by Moorhouse, Aubrey Kramer, Aleisha Lamb and Finley Lloyd, but Katelyn O'Neill and the Warriors defense prevented the Crusaders from extending their lead.  Southern Wesleyan countered with shots by Madelyn Graf and Madi Wurst, but the Crusaders and goalkeeper Haleigh Holland prevented each attack from cutting into their lead.  North Greenville went on to net two more goals off the feet of Jada Patrick and Finley Lloyd to lead 3-0 at halftime.

North Greenville continued their attacks in the second half as Aubrey Kramer put back-to-back shots, but once again Katelyn O'Neill stood strong on the back line to save the attacks.  The Crusaders pressured the Warriors the entire second half to prevent any attack.  Katelyn O'Neill stood her ground in the goal as she saved shots off the feet of Aubrey Kramer and Finley Lloyd.  The Crusaders won the game in a 3-0 final.
