Wilson, NC- The Warriors were unable to defeat the Barton Bulldogs on the road as they fell in a 6-1 final.

How It Happened 

The Bulldogs swept the doubles points after taking all three.  Anya King and Natalie White were unable to defeat M. Kronsbein and T. Howeler after a 6-2 final. Ashley Dube and Camillie Cunningham were also defeated after losing in a 6-2 final against I. Caballero and S. Fernandez. 

In the singles action, Anya King was able to put up one point for the Warriors. King won her match against E. Maher in 6-4 and 6-4 finals. Natalie White lost in a 6-2 and 6-1 final against M. Kronsbein. Ashley Dube and Camillie Cunningham both were unable to pass up their competition after both losing in a 6-1 and 6-0 final. In the final match, Claire Blackwell lost to I. Caballero in a 6-0 and 6-0 final.  

What's Next  

Southern Wesleyan will remain on the road on April 9 as they travel to Murfreesboro, NC to take on the Chowan Hawks.
