Belmont, NC - The Warriors were unable to defeat the Belmont Abbey Crusaders after losing in a 0-7 final on Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened  

In the doubles, the Warriors fell short to the Crusaders. In match NO. 1, Anya King and Natalie White lost in a 6-2 final against Vaughan and Aranyes. Ashley Dube and Caley Chambers lost to Hendricks and Seib in a 6-0 final. Camille Cunningham and Clair Blackwell were defeated in a 6-1 final against Galeano and Socarras.  

In the singles action, the Warriors were unable to put up any points. Anya King lost to Vaughan in a 6-1 and 6-0 final. Natalie White had a strong match but lost in a 6-2 and 6-2 final against Hendricks. Ashley Dube lost to Petson in 6-0 and 6-2 final. Camille Cunningham lost to Seib in a 6-1 and 6-1 final. Claire Blackwell lost to Davis in a 6-0 and 6-0 final. In the final match, Caley Chambers was unable to defeat Galeano after a 6-2 and 6-0 final.
