Georgia College countered in the bottom of the first inning with a grand slam by Brown to give them a 4-1 run lead.

The Warriors fought back as DJ Ludwick homered in the top of the second inning to allow the Warriors to cut the Bobcats lead in half.

Southern Wesleyan continued to challenge the Bobcats.  With one out, Josh Galloway singled to short stop.  Zach O'Malley singled to right field to allow Galloway to advance to third.  O'Malley then stole second to put both runners in scoring position.  Jordan Montgomery was hit by a pitch to load up the bases.  With the bases loaded, DJ Ludwick tripled to left field to bring Galloway, O'Malley and Montgomery in to score.  A single to left field by Sean Sutay allowed Ludwick to score to give the Warriors a 6-4 run advantage.
