Cleveland, GA – Southern Wesleyan fell to the Truett-McConnell Bears on the road on Tuesday afternoon in a 11-1 final score.
The Warriors collected five hits with
Josh Galloway leading the team with two. Both
Will Pitts and
Juan Garcia had doubles during the game. Two Warriors walked and
Chance Fogel had the lone stolen base in the loss.
Sean Sutay started the game on the mound and struck out one.
Ryan Moore,
Aidan Evans and
Andrew Patterson came in to pitch in relief. Moore led the team with two strikeouts.

How It Happened
The Bears struck early as they brought six runs in to score in the bottom of the first inning. They continued to push ahead as they brought more runs in during the third, fourth and fifth innings.
The Warriors countered in the top of the seventh.
Juan Garcia led off with a double to left field. With two outs, an error allowed
Ty King Richards to advance to first and brought Garcia in to score. However, the Warriors dropped the game in an 11-1 final.
What's Next
The Warriors will remain on the road on February 11 as they travel to Newberry, SC to take on the Wolves of Newberry College. They will then host the Wolves on Dr. C Keith Connor Field on February 12 for a double header starting at 1 p.m. Southern Wesleyan will then host the Truett-McConnell Bears on February 15 at 3 p.m.
