The Warriors countered in the top of the eighth inning.  With one out, Jordan Montgomery reached first on a fielding error.  A walk to Dawson Posick allowed Montgomery to advance to second base.  With two on Dawson Gilstrap singled up the middle to load up the bases.  Will Pitts doubled to left field to bring all three runners in to score and put the Warriors behind the Wolves 13-3.

Southern Wesleyan plated one more run in the top of the ninth inning.  With one out, Ty King Richards was hit by a pitch to reach first base.  A single by Zach O'Malley allowed King Richards to move to second.  However, an error on the play then allowed King Richards to move on to third base.  With runners on the corners, Jordan Montgomery reached on a fielder's choice that took O'Malley out and brought King Richards in to score.  However, the Warriors fell to the Wolves 13-4.
