Southern Wesleyan countered in the bottom of the third inning.  Sean Sutay led off with a single up the middle.  DJ Ludwick then reached on a fielder's choice, but an error by the second baseman allowed Sutay to stay on the bases.  With one out, Parker Pillsbury doubled to right center to bring Sutay home.  Will Pitts singled to center field with two outs to bring both Ludwick and Pillsbury home to give the Warriors a 3-1 run advantage.

The Bulldogs fought back with runs in the top of the fifth and seventh innings to tie the game up and force the game to go into extra innings.

The Warriors continue to challenge in the bottom of the tenth.  With one out, Chance Fogel singled through the right side.  A walk to Parker Pillsbury put two runners on.  Caden Cotton laid down a sacrifice bunt to advance both Fogel and Pillsbury.  A passed ball allowed Fogel to come in and give Southern Wesleyan a 4-3 run victory.
