The Warriors collected 22 kills in the loss to the Lions.

How It Happened
Set One
The Lions took the first point of the set as Alaina Emminger put down a kill. Emmanuel would not relent their attacks as Gabi Reagan, Jocelyn Martin and Emily Hanson all collected kills to extend their lead to 5-1. Back-to-back kills by
Amber Bass allowed the Warriors to come to within two of the Lions. Despite kills by
Emily Ellis and Bass, the Warriors dropped the first set 25-8.
Set Two
Southern Wesleyan took the first point of the second set on a kill by
Emily Ellis.
Amber Bass,
Trinity Eichman and Gavirelle Elsiwck blocked the Lions attacks to extend their lead to 3-1. However, the Lions countered with a kill by Gabi Reagan.
Riley Young killed the ball to extend the Warriors' lead. Emmanuel took the lead, but a kill by
Emily Ellis allowed the Warriors to tie it back up. A kill by Emily Hanson put the Lions ahead 10-9. The Warriors continued to fight as Eichman and
Tiyonnah Brown killed the ball. Emmanuel went on to take the second set 25-16.
Set Three
The Warriors kicked off the third set with an ace by
Ashley Sexton. However, kills by Arden Carlyle and Gabi Reagan allowed the Lions to take a 3-1 point lead. Emmanuel extended their lead but a kill by
Riley Young allowed the Warriors to stay within nine. Despite kills by
Emily Ellis,
Trinity Eichman and
Amber Bass the Warriors fell to the Lions in a 25-12 final.
What's Next
The Warriors will return to Historic Tysinger Gymnasium on October 29 at 2 p.m. to host the Converse Valkyries for Senior Day. They will wrap up the regular season on November 1 as they host the Erskine Flying Fleet at 6 p.m.
