Central, SC – Southern Wesleyan fell to the Anderson Trojans on Tuesday evening in a 7-2 final.
The Warriors collected 11 hits against the Trojans with four players collected two hits apiece.
Parker Pillsbury had the lone extra base hit for Southern Wesleyan as he posted a double.
Angelo Pahila had the lone RBI.
DJ Ludwick walked twice, and Ludwick and
Ty King Richards both stole bases.
TJ McEvilly started the game for Southern Wesleyan. McEvilly collected three strikeouts over eight innings pitched.
Andrew Patterson pitched the last inning and had two strike outs.

How It Happened
The Trojans took an early lead as they brought three runs in to score in the top of the first inning. Anderson continued to push ahead in the top of the third inning. A ground out by Weisner and an error on the play allowed the Trojans to extend their lead to 5-0.
Southern Wesleyan countered in the bottom of the fifth.
Hunter Garlington led off with a single and then advanced to second on a single by
Sean Sutay.
DJ Ludwick walked to load up the bases. With the bases loaded, a passed ball brought Garlington in to score to put the Warriors down 6-1.
Anderson pushed their lead up by one more run, but Southern Wesleyan countered in the bottom of the eighth inning.
Josh Galloway singled down the right field line to lead off. With
Nolan Steevens pinch running and one out,
Ty King Richards singled through the left side to advance Steevens to second. A single by
Angelo Pahila allowed Steevens to come in to score. However, the Trojans went on to win the game 7-2.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will next host the Erskine College Flying Fleet on April 21 at 2 and 5 p.m. They will then wrap up the regular season on April 24 as they host the Bob Jones Bruins.
