Columbia, SC – Southern Wesleyan achieved personal bests at the USC Open on Saturday.
How It Happened
Women's Results
100 Meters: Southern Wesleyan was led by
Avrel Jean and
Miriam Ross in the 100 meters. Jean took 51
st with a time 13.20 while Ross followed in 54
th with a time of 13.60.
100 Meter Hurdles: In the preliminaries of the 100 meter hurdles,
Meshayla Maddox finished in 27
th with a time of 17.65.
200 Meters:
Lauryn Tate finished in 58
th in the 200 meters dash as she crossed the finish line with a time of 27.03.
400 Meters:
Michele Beugre led the Warriors in the 400 meters as she finished in 12
th with a time of 56.80.
Carmen DeVries and
Lycia Zavala followed. DeVries took 26
th with a time of 1:00.16 and Zavala finished in 30
th with a time of 1:00.57.
Discus:
Kelsie Smith finished in 19
th in the discus with a throw of 32.58 meters.
Men's Results
200 Meters:
Noah Meadows took 16
th in the 200 meters dash with a time of 21.71
400 Meters: The Warriors were led in the 400 meters as
Noah Meadows finished in 53
rd with a time of 55.81.
800 Meters: In the 800 meters,
Ludcheel Colas led the Warriors as he finished in 30
th with a time of 1;58.86. Colas was followed by
Jacob Harris and
Noah Dilday. Harris took 40
th with a time of 2:01.88 and Dilday took 47
th with a time of 2:11.11.
